Who is adé?

Yes. adé, also written as ade, is the name I go by; Adelajdo is my first name and ademusic is the name I release music under. prodbyaido, 4idope and 4ido Music are the names you’ll find on my earlier work.

I’ve been producing in FL Studio for ten years. That’s where my approach comes from: listening, choosing sounds, building arrangements and understanding what a track needs. I bring that experience to my exploration of artificial intelligence, too.

My voice, recreated 1:1. I started with my own voice recorded through a RØDE NT1-A: I sampled it and managed to replicate its timbre 1:1 with Generative AI. From a microphone recording to a generative version of my own voice: this experiment captures where my musical and technological work meet.

I use Generative AI at certain stages of making music, experimenting with ideas, samples and sonic material to select and rework. AI also plays a part in developing VST plugins and effects, exploring sounds, and working on pitch correction, mixing and mastering. The tools vary with each project.

The work lies in the choices: what to keep, what to transform, where to leave space and when to stop. That’s how an experiment finds a direction and becomes part of my sound.
